Qurban 2026

Give what you love, for the One you love

This Dhul Hijjah, fulfil your Qurban with sincerity, devotion and trust in Allah SWT.

Give from what is meaningful to you, and support families who need it most.

Qurban is more than an annual ritual. It is a sacred act of worship – a reflection of Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) devotion, and a reminder to give with sincerity for the sake of Allah.

Through your Qurban, families facing hardship can share in the blessings of Eid al-Adha with dignity, nourishment and care.

40 years of delivering Qurban where it matters most

For over 40 years, Al Mustafa Welfare Trust has delivered Qurban to communities in need across the world, including Gaza, Yemen, Sudan and Lebanon.

Last year, your Qurban helped reach over 3.1 million people across 21 countries, providing fresh meat to those who need it most.

When you give with Al Mustafa, you can trust your Qurban will be delivered with care, transparency and integrity.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“For every hair of the Qurban, you receive a reward from Allah (SWT).”

Tirmidhi

What is Qurban?

Qurban is the sacred act of sacrificing an animal during Eid al-Adha. It is performed on the 10th, 11th and 12th days of Dhul Hijjah, and commemorates the devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who was willing to sacrifice his son Ismail (AS) for the sake of Allah (SWT).

It is a powerful reminder to give with sincerity – not just from what we have, but from what we value most.

“It is neither their flesh nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is your piety that reaches Him.”

(Al-Quran 22:37)

Who Needs to Give Qurban?

Qurban is wajib (obligatory) for every sane adult Muslim who possesses wealth equal to or above the nisab threshold – similar to the eligibility criteria for zakat.

For those who are able, it is an opportunity to fulfil an important act of worship with sincerity and intention.

Those who are not of sound mind are exempt from this obligation.

Which Animals are Eligible?

The animals eligible for Qurban include goats, sheep, cows, buffalo and camels. Each must meet specific age and health requirements for the sacrifice to be valid.

A sheep or goat must be at least one year old and counts as one share, while a cow or camel can be shared by up to seven people.

What is the Prophetic Qurban?

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) offered two Qurbans each year one on his own behalf and one on behalf of those in his ummah who were unable to give.

By giving a Prophetic Qurban, you revive this beautiful Sunnah – giving not only for yourself, but for others, for the sake of Allah (SWT).

Make every one of the 10 days count

The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are unlike any other. Each good deed weighs heavier, each dua rises higher, and each act of charity reaches further.

With a single setup, your giving flows automatically across all ten blessed days — supporting families in need while you focus on worship, family and reflection.

A small step from you. A lifetime of reward, insha'Allah.
